Why did BJP take so much time to come up this lame "MODIfesto"?

Lazy Feku at work! (cartoon courtesy: Manjul)

Agreed that it is a poorly copied version of Congress manifesto. Agreed that none of the points mentioned in it are ever going to get fulfilled. (Primarily because Feku is never going to come to power!). Agreed that the 'Ram Temple' issue is slowly matching the age of Advaniji. But why this delay? Our sources found out some strong reasons...

1. As Congress follows the policy of democracy in and off the party, their manifesto was duly "leaked" to the counterparts of BJP. However, the copy was in English and Rajnath had already protested against the usage of this "foreign" language, all BJP/RSS/VHP dudes were horrified. It took them 6 days to get it translated.

2. Now, after painful translation, BJP stalwarts gathered to understand what was given in the manifesto. Simultaneously, the process of copying initiated. It is rumoured that Arun Jaitley fainted after reading the points as knew he won't be able to debate on anything in his next tenure as Opposition leader in Rajyasabha!

3. A perfect manifesto was in front of them and they, obviously, could not resist. So they gave the orders to get it printed and headed for the party. Amit Shah was assigned for copying the manifesto. He was very happy to get this opportunity.

4. But as nature would have it, 'Saheb' had to interfere. Shah, being loyal to him, stopped the press immediately. There was one very important point to be added to make it the real BJP Manifesto.

RAM MANDIR!

As 'Saheb' spoke about it, there was an encore! This was an issue that made the 'Sanghis' at home. Suddenly there was a unique blood-rush. Images of that thrilling time, swords, 'saffron' picnic... came in front of their eyes.

5. Finally, as courtesy, final 'copied' draft of BJP manifesto was sent to Advaniji for final scrutiny. (Out of respect, though it didn't matter.) It was the original copy. Advaniji, out of anger and pending ridicule, flushed it...
