So is BJP serious about corruption? You're making a mistake if you think it is...
- One of the most allegedly corrupt BJP Chief Ministers B.S.
Yeddyurappa (Karnataka) is back in BJP. This is the same Yeddyurappa
whom the people of Karnataka rejected strongly by voting-in Congress in
the last assembly elections.
- Now why would that be? If we believe that BJP's strategies
were wrong during assembly polls, then Yeddyurappa was a liability. Then
why so sudden change of heart...?
- It is because the
roots of 'snoopgate', where Amit Shah, the then Home Minister of
Gujarat, used police and intelligence machinery to spy on a woman on the
commands of his 'Saheb' (Boss), go till Karnataka! The lady in question
was from Bengaluru and during that period of time Yeddyurappa was the
Chief Minister.
- As anyone can guess, Yeddyurappa surely knows more than what
he shows about this whole 'scandal'. BJP has not been able to give
convincing answers on the snoopgate while, as usual, Modi has kept mum.
- Now the question is, will the media, common people and
judiciary, take a note of this development? Or we are just going to
forget how security and personal life of a woman was compromised just
because a man in top position was 'interested' in her life?
